Health and Safety Management

  • Added a high-level policy statement that relates to the Health and Safety at Work Act. This is all new content.

  • Strengthened the wording about Allocating resources.

  • Removed this topic and moving the definitions to other topics as appropriate.

  • Made formatting and grammar changes to help with readability.
  • Added a definition of "reasonably practicable" from the Health and Safety at Work Act.

  • Made changes to improve readability.

Risk Management

  • Added examples of hazards.
  • Added the option for school's to specify how they record hazards.

  • Added the option for school's to specify how psychosocial hazards should be reported.

  • Added detail to explain the role of the elected representative.
