St Joseph's School
At St Joseph's School, the board ensures that the school is a physically and emotionally safe place where risks to health and safety (both physical and mental) are eliminated or minimised (Health and Safety at Work Act 2015; Education and Training Act 2020). Responding to a bomb threat
A bomb threat may be received in a range of ways, including email, mail, phone, social media, or in person.

If we receive a bomb threat in person, either directly from a person responsible for the threat, or indirectly from another person, we avoid confrontation but ask questions about the threat if it is safe to do so. We may also need to follow our procedure for a trespasser or attacker on school grounds. See Trespasser or Attacker on School Grounds.
