• Linked to Assessing and Responding to Concerns and Complaints under "Managing concerns and incidents" to clarify the process for managing concerns about community conduct.

Opening and Closing the School (previously School Year, Terms, and Holidays)

• Updated title of this policy and added information about planned closures, including Ministry criteria for closing the school.
• Added information about varying school hours in a school day and multiple timetable arrangements.

Emergency Closure (previously School Closure)

• Updated title of this policy and removed wording about industrial action to reflect changes to Opening and Closing the School (previously School Year, Terms, and Holidays). Policy titles updated accordingly in the Review Schedule and Board Assurances.

Supporting English Language Learners

• Developed an optional policy with the Ministry of Education ESOL, Refugee, and Migrant Team to cover the key processes of an ELL programme.
