• This is a new optional topic. Schools can state whether they do or do not allow students to use generative AI when completing their school work.
• The topic contains information about how teachers monitor the use of generative AI to ensure the authenticity of student work, especially for assessments.

Lockdown and Shelter in Place (previously Reverse Evacuation)

• Updated the title of this topic to align with updated Ministry of Education guidelines.
• Added links to related emergency, disaster, and crisis management information.

• Replaced a potentially confusing phrase from the wording about helping students to contact the right person.

Chronic Communicable Conditions

• Removed a potentially confusing word to make it clear that the type of leave provided doesn't need to specifically be "sick leave".
