- Clarified that this policy relates to third-party use of school property.
- Updated considerations before approving use and added a link to income policies.
- Simplified wording about which agreements need board and which may need Ministry approval. Recommended that schools refer to the Ministry's table if unsure.
- Added information about appropriate use and what happens if there are issues.
- Removed reference to use of the school outside school hours. We are reviewing content about after-hours use of the school by staff, students, and members of the public and will notify schools when an update is ready.

- Added highlighted wording that already appears in the EOTC Event Approval and Next Steps topic so that it is clear who must approve overnight school activities.
- Added information about the written agreement required between the board and a group staying overnight.
- Changed "community group" to "third party" and added a definition of third party.
